Interestingly enough a friend of mine told me the exact same thing some days ago.

Below is an instant translation from a Norwegian Company's annual report in 2003.

The Company is focused on gender-equality and the manager, that is the only one of the male species in the group and that on top of it all is gay, doesn't have any issues with the four employees that are female, but we live together in perfect harmony.

The board consists of 1 woman, 1 gay and 1 man.

If the company was to comply with the law about gender equality we would have to fire some females and hire some males, but that is out of the question.
