A reflection upon snow

Once again snow is has created a white layer around the streets of Oslo, Norway. Thankfully I changed to spiked winter tires before having to drive on the slippery surface.

As usual, there were quite a few indications before the actual snow starting falling from the sky, but as always, citizens around are taken by surprise, and car-accidents follows. A couple buses have driven off the road, a couple cars went into the tram, but nothing out of the ordinary has happened.

Personally I'm sitting inside my apartment, enjoying a nice, hot cup of coffee and looking at all the people outside trying to walk from A to B without falling into the ground more than once.

It just seems so peaceful around.

Tomorrow

Today I felt very inspired by the song Tomorrow from the musical Annie.

The sun'll come out, tomorrow,
Bet your bottom dollar, that tomorrow,
There'll be sun,

Just thinkin about, tomorrow,
Clears away the cobwebs and the sorrow, till theres none,

When I'm stuck with a day, thats grey and lonely,
I just stick out my chin, and grin, and say:

Oh, the sun'll come out tomorrow,
So you gotta hang on till tomorrow,
Come what may.

Tomorrow tomorrow, I love you tomorrow,
You're only a day away,

The sun'll come out, tomorrow,
Bet your bottom dollar, that tomorrow,
There'll be sun,

Just thinkin about, tomorrow,
Clears away the cobwebs and the sorrow, till theres none,

When Im stuck with a day, thats grey and lonely,
I just stick out my chin, and grin, and say,

Oh, the sun'll come out tomorrow,
So you gotta hang on till tomorrow,
Come what may.

Tomorrow tomorrow, I love you tomorrow,
You're always a day away,

Tomorrow tomorrow, I love you tomorrow,
Youre only a day away,

The sun'll come out, tomorrow,
Bet your bottom dollar, that tomorrow,
There'll be sun,

Just thinkin about, tomorrow,
Clears away the cobwebs and the sorrow, till theres none,

When I'm stuck with a day, thats grey and lonely,
I just stick out my chin, and grin, and say:

Oh, the sun'll come out tomorrow,
So you gotta hang on till tomorrow,
Come what may.

Tomorrow tomorrow, I love you tomorrow,
You're always a day away,

Tomorrow tomorrow, I love you tomorrow,
You're only a day away

Euro

EU monetary affairs commissioner Joaquin Almunia has said that Brussels could in theory take Sweden to Europe's top court for not joining the euro despite meeting all the economic criteria - but he added that such action "is not necessary or desirable" for now.

I can't even begin to state how bad I would consider the ramifications in the events of such a decision to be, and thankfully I don't have to for now. Personally I find the Euro-zone to have a too great variation to have one common central bank and one common currency, not only due to the expansion to include new member countries, but the large budget deficits in some of the older member states as well.
